IT support in Perth

We've been providing IT support across Perth for over twenty years — for homes and for businesses small enough that the person who answers the phone is the person who does the work.

What IT support covers here

Four things, and the same person does all four. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor you've never met.

Computer technician

Troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, software installs and data recovery — at your place or ours, for homes and businesses.

More

Computer networks

Setting up a network that's secure and actually fast, or fixing one that drops out, runs slow or never quite worked properly.

More

Backup and recovery

Local, cloud, or both together — set up, checked, and proven to restore before you ever need it to.

More

Virtualisation

Several servers or workstations running on one piece of hardware, so you buy and power one machine instead of four.

Most jobs start the same way: something stopped working and nobody can tell you why. We diagnose it first, tell you what it is in plain terms, and quote before touching anything.

  • Troubleshooting faults nobody else could pin down
  • Hardware upgrades — drives, memory, replacement parts
  • Software installation and licensing sorted properly
  • Data recovery from failed and failing drives
  • Email set up and working on every device
HOW A JOB RUNS 1 Diagnose free, and we tell you what we find 2 Fixed quote parts listed separately, before ordering 3 Repair only once you have said yes

Computer networks

Whether you're putting a network in for a business or dealing with one that drops out, runs slow or never quite worked, the job is the same: find out what's actually happening rather than replacing boxes and hoping.

For a new install we design around what the building and the business need — how many people, how far the cable runs have to go, where the dead spots are — not around whichever kit was on special.

Wireless problems are usually not the router

Most "slow Wi-Fi" calls turn out to be placement, channel overlap from the neighbours, or a cable run that was never terminated properly. Replacing the router fixes none of those.

Backup and recovery

Almost everyone has a backup. Far fewer have a backup that has ever been restored from. Those are not the same thing, and you find out which one you've got on the worst possible day.

We set up local backups, cloud storage, or a combination of both depending on how much data you have, how fast you'd need it back, and what you can afford to lose. Then we restore from it to prove it works.

THE 3–2–1 RULE what a backup has to be before it counts 3 copies of it 2 kinds of media 1 kept off site and one restore actually tested a backup nobody has restored from is a guess
